About the role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced SSI Dive Instructor to join our Dive Camps at PuraVida Divehouse in Sagres, one of Portugal’s most stunning dive locations. Key Responsibilities: Teach and coordinate weekly dive camp certification programs for teens and adults. Conduct daily SSI courses for divers of all levels, including Try Scuba experiences. Guide fun dives from the shore and double dive boat trips. Run scuba demos in selected resorts. Maintain and manage dive equipment in accordance with safety regulations. Educate divers on marine conservation and local ecosystems. Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Requirements

Driving license and boat license(could be obtained here) required. Strict respect for diving teaching standards. Active SSI Instructor certification (minimum OWSI required). Own full dive equipment and valid professional dive insurance. Fluent in English; additional languages such as Portuguese, Spanish, French, or German are a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in cold water and low visibility diving (preferred but not mandatory). Must have the right to work in Portugal or an EU work permit.
